Baltimore's Eighth Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade
This year's Special Guest is
Baltimore native Keion Carpenter, recently a safety for the
Atlanta Falcons; however he has now made a transition from NFL
player to community advocate. His foundation, The Carpenter
House, Inc. (TCH) was created to address the current lack of
affordable housing. This Maryland based not-for-profit
organization was designed to empower underprivileged families
by helping them become homeowners. The organization
concentrates heavily on single parent families in the
Baltimore area, with hopes of expanding nationwide.
